Meet Me Downtown

We invite you to join us on Saturday, September 26th from 12-5pm for Meet Me Downtown, Lynn’s Annual Festival of the Arts held in partnership with LynnArts Inc, the Office of Mayor Edward “Chip” Clancy and Lynn EDIC.

The event features live music, dance, theatrical performances, children’s activities, gallery exhibitions and artisans and crafters selling their work. All activities are free to the public. For more info call LynnArts at 781-598-5244 and visit: www.lynnarts.org.

 

Lynn Auditorium

Since re-opening in 2006, the auditorium has jumped back onto the scene as the oldest yet newest premier entertainment venue on the North Shore of Massachusetts.

The 2009 season has already included, the US Air Force Liberty Band, Super Scientific Circus, Foreigner, and the Irish Tenors.

Art and Culture
with Third Thursdays
in Central Square!

Now in its fifth year, the Central Square Collaborative invites you and your whole family to experience a season of exciting, new events alongside returning favorites. Visit the Square from 5-8 PM on select third Thursdays to experience art, live-music and fun activities.

Discover changing exhibits at the Lynn Museum, LynnArts and Raw Art Works. Enjoy fresh, healthy produce from the Lynn Farmer's Market and the Food Project. Check out a new band under the train tracks!

With events as diverse as Restaurant Week, International Film Festival, Dog Days of Summer Parade and Pageant, and Central Scare! visitors of all ages will find out why downtown Lynn is the place to be 3rd Thursday evenings in 2009.

Thursdays are just the beginning! Come downtown any night of the week to enjoy restaurants, art galleries and more. Spend a sunny afternoon at the Meet Me Downtown Festival of the Arts, catch a summer time movie or concert at Red Rock Beach, or enjoy live music at the Lynn Auditorium.
